CCi academy

Developing Leaders. Strengthening Churches.

Advancing the Kingdom.

A new season for CCi Academy

For over a decade, CCI Academy has been committed to raising healthy, Christ-centred leaders who are equipped to serve the local church, influence their communities, and fulfil
God’s calling on their lives.

As we look ahead to the new academic year, we are excited to introduce a refreshed
Academy experience that combines the flexibility of digital learning with the relational
strength that has always been at the heart of CCI Academy.

Our goal remains unchanged:

To develop leaders who live like Jesus, lead like Jesus, and serve the purposes of
God in their generation.

Why we are evolving

The world of education is changing, ministry is changing, and the demands placed upon
leaders are changing.

Over the past number of years we have listened carefully to students, pastors, mentors
and church leaders across our movemen, our island and beyond. While our commitment to
leadership development remains the same, we believe there is an opportunity to make
Academy training:

More
Accessible

More
Flexible

More
Affordable

More
Relational

More
Practical

More Sustainable for Local Churches

The result is a new Academy model that combines online learning, serving at CCi events, mentoring and intentional community gatherings.

The new Academy model

1. On-demand learning

Students will gain access to a growing library of high-quality Academy teaching delivered through professionally produced video sessions.

This allows students to:

Learn at their own pace

Study around family and work commitments

Revisit lessons as often as needed

Access Academy teaching from anywhere

Fit learning around ministry, work and family life

Each module will include:

Video teaching sessions

Downloadable notes

Reflection questions

Practical assignments

Recommended reading

Leadership application exercises

2. Learn as
you go

Rather than concentrating learning into large classroom days, students will progress through modules throughout the year.

This approach allows:

Greater retention of information

More consistent leadership development

Practical implementation between sessions

Ongoing reflection and growth

Learning becomes a journey rather than an event.

3. Mentoring

One of the strongest aspects of Academy has always been relationship.

Every student will continue to journey with a mentor chosen by them from within the CCI family.

Mentors will meet regularly with students to:

Encourage spiritual growth

Discuss leadership development

Pray together

Review practical ministry experiences

We believe leadership is caught as well as taught.

4. Learning
communities

While much of the teaching content will be delivered online, we remain committed to gathering together.

Students will participate in key Academy gatherings throughout the year where they can:

Build friendships

Learn from our lecturers and each other

Participate in leadership discussions

Share ministry experiences

Pray and worship together

These gatherings ensure Academy remains relational, connected and Kingdom-focused.
